Welsh Springer Spaniel

The Welsh Springer Spaniel, or “Welshy” is a breed known for its friendly disposition, intelligence, and excellent hunting abilities. Bred originally as hunting dogs, Welsh Springer Spaniels have a strong instinct for flushing out game birds. They may exhibit hunting behaviors, such as sniffing and tracking, especially when outdoors. They are medium-sized dogs with sturdy builds. Adult males typically weigh between 45-55 pounds (20-25 kg), while females weigh slightly less.
