The Bernese Mountain Dog is faithful, loyal and affectionate. They are friendly and gentle and minimally aggressive. They are devoted to their owners, friendly to strangers and require lots of human attention. They may suffer from separation anxiety, which may lead them to destructive behavior when left alone.
