Swedish Vallhund

The Swedish Vallhund is a sturdy and energetic herding breed known for its versatility, intelligence, and distinctive “Viking” appearance. are medium-sized dogs with a compact and muscular build. They have a distinctive “corgi-like” appearance, with a long body, short legs, and fox-like face. They were originally used to herd and drove cattle, hunt vermin, and act as a watchdog. Their thick double coats allowed them to work in the cold, wet, rough terrain without difficulty while their short frames kept them well out of reach from kicking cattle.
